04/11/2007

After winning Heat 3 in the second fastest time of the 6 heats for the 2007 Walter Hayes Trophy at Silverstone (November 3rd/4th) Josh Fisher started Semi Final 2 from pole position in the Wayne Poole Racing Mygale SJ01 and was many people's pick to take the final. Unfortunatley Josh was knocked out out the race on Lap 4 during a hectic battle at the front of the field and was unable to continue. However, Josh's brother Felix in a WPR run Swift made it to the final after a good run to 11th in his Semi Final. A coming together after the final was re-started saw Felix retire with damaged suspension. A full report, including news of all the other WPR drivers and photos can be found here.
