Class C one-two at Combe

WPR had the two Van Diemen RF89's out for Steve Bracegirdle and Pete Diccox for the 'Drive South West' sponsored Castle Combe FF1600 Championship round.

In a wet practice practice Steve and Pete qualified 17th and 18th respectively which put them 2nd and 3rd in Class.

By race time it was dry and both drivers made good starts and after a few laps had closed in on the Class leader. Steve began to apply pressure and on Lap 8 this paid off as the leader went off to retire  leaving Steve and Pete to come home first and second in Class with Steve getting the added bonus of Class fastest lap.
